he District Natural Disaster Committee, Parbat has provided financial assistance to the family of Ankita Tamang who died in the July 26 landslide. Tamang from Nuwakot was a worker with the Baribeni-based Dhaulagiri Cotton Factory in the district. She was buried to death as the landslide hit the factory a week ago. Committee’s Coordinator and Chief District Officer Shambhu Marasini Monday handed Rs 45,000 to the bereaved family.
